Guided tour of the Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Exhibition
Get a guided tour of the Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Exhibition
She was the first woman in the world to carry out some of the most prestigious commissions in sculpture – an equestrian statue of a king and bronze doors for a cathedral. She left her mark on public spaces, achieved international success, and enjoyed a remarkable status in her time, both as an artist and as a woman.
Join this guided tour of the first permanent exhibition of her works. Hear the stories behind her creations, and let the guide show you how clay, bronze, plaster, and wax were transformed into organic forms, where human and nature merge in Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen’s hands. Along the way, Jesper Just’s work “Luminescens” is presented, highlighting the vitality in Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen’s art across the exhibition’s spaces.
